Controlled Mechanical Ventilation

Our Controlled Mechanical Ventilation systems are designed to ensure the exchange and filtration of the air between an internal environment and the outside. The devices are suitable for residential installations, (apartment); or commercial and tertiary (offices, restaurants, shops).
To find out all the components of a complete system, it is possible to consult our CMV kits from 2 up to 6 zones. CMV machines are equipped with integrated heat exchangers, which allow considerable energy savings thanks to the heat exchange between the internal environment and the external one.

Our Controlled Mechanical Ventilation devices are divided into:

PUNCTUAL SYSTEMS
It is a "single-environment" residential device, with wall installation and direct expulsion of return air (exhaust air coming from inside). It is recommended if there is a need to change the air in an existing room (or one undergoing renovation) where there is no possibility of installing centralized systems.
CENTRALIZED SYSTEM
It is an autonomous system which simultaneously provides for both the introduction of fresh air ("supply") and the expulsion of exhausted air (return), from an environment to the outside.
Thanks to the integrated fans and the cross-flow heat exchanger, the device. It allows considerable energy savings thanks to the heat exchange.
PCO™ Active Sanitization devices can be integrated into some of our specific CMV solutions. This allows our CMV devices the opportunity to actively and continuously sanitize the ventilation ducts, surfaces and environments in which they have been installed.

WHAT IS PCO™ ACTIVE SANITIZATION TECHNOLOGY
PCO (photocatalytic oxidation) It is a photochemical process that imitates and reproduces what occurs in nature through photocatalysis. This process, thanks to the combined action of the sun's UV rays, the humidity present in the air and some noble metals already present in nature, generates oxidizing ions which are capable of destroying most of the polluting and toxic substances.
The reaction that is generated thanks to the Photocatalytic Oxidation allows to destroy with a natural and active principle harmful substances such as: bacteria, viruses, moulds.

It is possible to integrate the PCO™ into our Controlled Mechanical Ventilation devices thanks to the FC-Unit module. Hit by the air flow, the Photocatalytic Oxidation module generates a photochemical reaction which binds an added molecule of oxygen (O) to those of hydrogen and oxygen pre-existing in the humidity of the air (H2O). In this way, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), commonly known as hydrogen peroxide, is generated.
Hydrogen peroxide is produced in minimal quantities by the photocatalytic reaction (not exceeding 0.02 PPM) and is highly effective in destroying microbial loads both in the air and on surfaces.
